My Bunk replication

Hey everyone!

I've decided to finally give it a go and try to replicate what Bunk has been sharing. Since I already have most of the parts sitting in my workshop, it's mostly just a matter of putting the components together.

My journey goes all the way back to the days of Zilano, Kapanadze, and everything in between. After countless hours and more money spent than I'd care to admit — probably enough that, if I had just added it all up, I could've had free electricity for life and been sipping margaritas on a beach instead. But here I am, and I think everyone here who's been in this rabbit hole for 10, 20 years or more knows exactly what I mean.

One of my last rules I set for myself was that I wouldn't go back into the workshop unless I saw at least 2–3 successful replications of someone's device. Well, clearly I'm about to break that rule.

I created a new thread so I don't clutter the existing Bunk thread, which is already hard enough to follow. Attaching a photo of the simplest device Bunk shared — it was the first thing I found on my shelf. Once I track down the aluminum part, I'll throw it all together and report back on whether it lights up.

Have a nice day or night, e

Hello All!

I did some tests and use different hv power supplies and loads. Unfortunately this electron pump is not working at this time.

Vasile, thanks for the scheme. I have ALL the files from the man, so no worries.

Kurt, thanks for signing in as well — it would have been nice if you had shared this info earlier!

To everyone: please share your experience if you've already tried this or any other device, regardless of whether you succeeded or failed.

i am pretty sure that you got a pcb named Electra 1.0

this is my source and a good explanation what this circuit does.

I kept reading his posts until they kicked him off the forum. He probably had some really good stuff to say, but now we'll never hear it.

He got kicked out of our forum because he was just posting junk, things unrelated to each other.

After 200 posts he didn't came with a clear schematic or at least something clear which can be useful for a replication attempt. I'm not even mentioning his insults to our members and his religious cult-like attitude.

We actually had more than enough patience with him. If he got something it's obvious he had no intention to share anything here and he was here just to spam. You can check that thread and see for yourself that random sh*t he posted there. Always things unrelated to each other, no details, nothing which can actually be helpful.

I warned in a previous post on BU about working with thorium and similar ionizing metals used for spark gaps.

The reason I did that: I had been exposed to ionizing radiation on various projects, a chemistry lab, and an inspection of a cyclotron facility when I was very young.

Being radiated is a silent phenomena, and it may not manifest for many years. I developed blindness and tumors - a baseball size portion of my scalp had to be removed. After costly operations I can see again, but have a large bald spot on the side of my head.

I was technical editor for a radiologist training manual ... take nothing for granted, friends.

Please be extra cautious.

Good for you editor, I too have come to the conclusion that the device you have posted is the simplest bunk has posted about. Unfortunatelly his chaotic behaviour doesn't help much. I will post the schematic in case you do not have it anymore so everyone can see it. Keep in touch.

Great idea with the separate thread Editor ! I love this circuit. I have tried this though, and could not get an output... however I do believe this will work as seen on the videos. I think there may be more to the inside of the core than meets the eye. BTW how do I post images directly under the comment as seen above ?

Hello

Thank you, I will try as presented above

Hi Mungam,

As Jagau pointed out, for images:

For inserting images directly in the post you should click the "Insert/Edit Image" button in the editor's toolbar (see the red arrow) and and in the box which will appear click "Upload" then you can browse on your computer for the image you want to insert:

The image will be inserted in the post at the position where your cursor is.

For videos there is the buton near (on the right side of the images button) where you can upload videos.

Just keep in mind for videos there is a limit, the video file cannot exceed 500 MB.

If you have any problem uploading images or videos just ask and I'll assist.

Regards,

Fighter

Hi Mungan!

Thanks for the schematic and the video.

Could you please share some photos — or even better, a video — of the device you received yesterday? The YouTube video is very low quality, almost like it’s 30 years old. I’m sure everyone here would be very interested to get a better look at the device you’re describing. Today every device is recording in 4k or better.

We're not talking about a system beyond the unit here; we're talking about a nuclear generator.

I asked experts in the field of thorium that Bunk uses.

Can thorium really replace uranium in nuclear power plants?

No, thorium isn't a plug-and-play replacement for uranium. It's more of a complementary option. Thorium-232 is *fertile*: under irradiation, it transforms into uranium-233, a fissile isotope capable of sustaining a chain reaction. This process requires either reactors specifically designed for breeding or complex couplings within existing reactors. In conventional pressurized water reactors, the direct use of thorium requires fuel modifications and often costly reprocessing cycles. Molten salt reactors (MSRs) and some high-temperature designs make greater use of thorium, but these technologies still require demonstrators and certifications.

So i am not competent enough to play with nuclear energy.
