Hello,

Welcome to our new home !

 Just keep in mind the site is still in testing-mode, the mobile version is not ready yet (there is still work to do on that side) and the standard version still have some minor issues which needs to be fixed.

But in the standard version of the site the basic functionality seems okay.

If you find any bug or if you have any suggestions please feel free to use our Site Feedback section:

If you want to copy from the secondary forum any of your threads here please feel free to do so.

When creating new topic please try to use a matching category for it. If you think there is a category missing please let us know and we'll add it.

This is necessary so we avoid having a mess of topics with wrong categories, would be very hard to keep them organized and easy to find by members when they search for a specific subject.

We'll continue to work on the mobile version, test, fix issues and add new features in the background.

Hello friends, Great that the new forum is operating now, thanks for your efforts and your time. I'm trying with my android phone right now, a small bug is that the thumbs up button don't work, the favourite and the reply in blue ink work ok.Vidura.

I'm currently trying to simulate different mobile screen sizes to find possible bugs, but there are so many sizes and devices I'm not sure I can cover them all. If you find any issues please let us know.

Also on the standard version of the site I know there are some small things to be fixed (I have a list of about 15 known issues right now) but they will be fixed in the background. If you find any issues on the standard version please let us know.

There are also many new features which will be added as soon as there is more time.

Something important: for performance purposes the site is using your browser cache to avoid sending the same information everytime a page is loaded. When the site is changing on the server (bug-fixes and new features are added) the changes may not reflect in your browser's cache so you may actually see an older version of the site. If you want to make sure you see the newest/latest version of the site just from time to time you can make a full refresh of your browser's cache by pressing Ctrl + F5 keys and the browser cache will be updated with the latest version of the site.

Also if you have any suggestions about the site let us know.

Feel free to a new create topic and choose a Category which fits your topic. If you think there is a missing Category let us know and we'll create one. Initial organizing of the information is very important so we can avoid a possible chaos later where information can be hard to find.

Also if you want to import one of your topics from the secondary forum please feel free to do so. I intend to import a few of my topics myself: the ZPM threads,  the Aharonov-Bohm experiment and the GLED experiment from AboveUnity; also the Water-Based device from the secondary forum.

Vidura, if the "Like" feature is still not working on your side, more details are needed like screen size, operating system and browser you use on your mobile. Or you just send the model of the mobile and I can search on the web about its screen size, operating system etc. This way I can reproduce the issue. Once I succeed that the issue can be fixed.

Welcome everyone!

Times were and still are harsh with my health. But, I'll keep dedicating time to our common passion, hopefully more and more as I improve my health. I need to thank Fighter for having the main role in bringing this forum up. Thank you, bro! I'll give a hand whenever you need it.

Welcome Cd_Sharp,

You're also admin here so please feel free to help with the administration whenever you can and thanks for joining me in the development of our new home (especially for the idea and the implementation of the posts paging feature).

There are things to be added, probably bugs to be fixed and work on other details, so if you find any issue feel free to make code changes and let me know to make the deployment on the live server.

But first you take your time, take care of your health and get well as soon as possbile because we need you for both the new site and for research and experiments !

The mobile version should look much better now.

I tested it on my phone but there may be still issues on different devices.

If anyone find issues on his device I need a screenshot of the site (with the issues) and the dimensions of the mobile's screen (or the device's model and I'll find the dimensions myself by searching the web).

Hi Vidura, just checked on my phone and when I press the blue-ink "Like" text it does work.

I would need more details, I'm not sure how I can reproduce the issue.
