To be honest i have no idea what a scalar wave is. What should it be? Who describes what? I have read statements all over the place and it seems that everyone try to describe something which he or she do not understand.
When we have a room full of dots and each dot is separated from the others in a structured way. and when each dot has a potential, then we can say that this is a potential field or scalar field. so we have x,y,z and time as well. each point can have its own potential value and all together form this field.
now if a motion is transported through this field and we cut a slice out of it to have a 2d shape, we can explore a 'wave'.
is this the scalar wave, everybody is talking about?
what is it?
is it the situation, that most of us love when a bulp lights up with no voltage on the terminals? is this a scalar-effect? or is it radiant? is scalar maybe radiant?
at this point i am interested in your thougts.
have a nice day
B
