Voltage Multiplier

Hello,

Something very useful for our experiments: a voltage multiplier.

Sometimes we have an AC transformer we could use in our experiments but we need DC voltage higher than the transformer can provide or a range of higher DC voltages we can choose from.

Well, we can build a simple circuit with capacitors and diodes to get a range of DC voltages from the output of that AC transformer like this:

In my Don Smith Effect experiments I use voltage boosters because they are cheap but if you have an AC transformer and a bunch of capacitors and diodes already available in your stock and you want to put them at work then you can make your own voltage booster for free.
