Just wanted to say hello to all and especially to @Fighter for keeping this site running so well.

I've been out-of-the-loop for quite a while dealing with health issues that aren't going away anytime soon.  It's encouraging to see the search continue.

While laying in bed starring at the ceiling for many hours, something occurred to me that should be obvious, but I know in the past I overlooked its simplicity.  We are well aware of the term "path of least resistance", but we haven't really applied this directly to energy.  The reason for having blinders in this area is because we don't explicitly understand what it is the Universe is trying to accomplish.  I think I may have stumbled upon a simple truth--the Universe is striving for stillness.  What I mean by this is energy exists in frequencies of vibration.  When the energy is expressed as recipricating motion, it is kinetic; when expressed as rotational motion, it is potential.  Both expressions have a frequency associated with it.  This leads me to the energy content itself, which has an amplitude.  What the Universe is attempting to do is move energies with high amplitude to frequency regions that have lower amplitude.  This isn't always possible directly due to a lack of some matter that can act as a catalyst for the energy transformation.  The good news is this:  These conditions are a perfect opportunity to build machines that will allow energy "to roll downhill" from frequencies of high amplitude towards frequencies of low amplitude.  And because you are doing the Universe a favor, you can harness a little of that energy transport to power other things while the machine you built runs on the energy flow passing through it.

The bottom line is this:  Given enough time, all the energy in the Universe will at some point evenly distribute itself across the entire frequency spectrum, what happens next is beyond my comprehension, but in the meantime we can get paid to help the Universe accomplish what it is going to succeed at one way or another, with or without us.  There are only two things that can stop us:  Thinking & Talking.  I'm glad both are happening here at BeyondUnity.
