Hello All!

I was in touch with the Fighter and now I decide to show what is going on and to get some new ideas on how to get the signal that we all expect. Below is a quick video showing the simple setup. The coils are 1mm L1 cw 210T (370mH), L2 280T ( 828mH).

The poles were tested with the phone app named Pole detector, works ok.

I have built some other coils too, with different turn numbers but the output was almost the same.

I have 2 different grounds to play with. I did use the regular power supply but my home appliances were not happy at all, so I decided to isolate everything.

For sure there are differences from Fighter setup, like the core, the position of the coils, the voltage, not sure about the ground.

Hi Editor,

why won't you continue with the PS connected to the grid?

Are you afraid it will be damaged?  If so, you could try such a simple low pass filter I and Atti use to protect it

Vidura also has some designs given in Fighters thread.

Try to use 1:2 ratio coils and try to put them on the short sides of the core.

Regards Itsu

Hi Itsu!

because I fried my nearest appliance, the deep freezer. the main board, completely fried.

This is the first time that went completely off, on other occasions it just showed some predator signs on the display.

Well they changed the board and  gave me one spare one, so I'm good for some time. I guess I will have to do some filtering on the grid. I already have one for my shack but that is in the other place.

Like I wrote the plan is to connect everything on accu with the earth ground to the minus termina.

So, accu, inverter, PS, oscilloscope...

In the next few days I will try that and report back.

Did ZPM fried another device connected to the electrical grid ?..

Through a DC source ? Didn't knew that's possible, sorry about that...

Fighter

Not just this one, the closest to the table and on same phase.

No worries Fighter I know the risks... the freezer is still in warranty.

This is not the first time, I happende with similar devices before, but this time was I was 100%

what was the couse.

The grounding connection is not something separate like a wire I added.

It's the grounding of the DC source going through the 3rd wire in DC source's power cord and then to the clamps in the power socket to the grounding of the electrical grid:

Hi everyone.

Just a few pictures of a quick job.
I have checked several times, there is no short circuit anywhere. No physical contact with anything. The coils are separate and not connected. So there is no stimulation either. There is only capacitive path closure. This is a simple disassembled microwave oven transformer.

About my power supply:
-Self-made, repeatedly tested and accurate. The power supply has a toroidal transformer. So it has no grounding.
-My other power supply also has a toroidal transformer (but it is switching mode, so it is not linear) while it also does not have grounding.
-The H bridge is a combination of SG3525 and IR2110. It also does not have mains grounding.

Nevertheless, the grounding of the oscilloscope (or the use of a separate grounding) is capacitively closed to the power supply. A Led indicator shows the low voltage. This weak voltage can be added to the excitation voltage at a suitable frequency. Or it can completely mess up the measurement. The voltage is not weak in all cases. Look at the analog multimeter.
- The H bridge does not produce enough disturbance to provide excitation when connected to the ground.
- For me, the most interesting thing is that this is the same situation with batteries. I also tried it with the battery of an 18V cordless drill.
-The frequency is some max 50KHz.

Interesting.

Atti.

Hi editor. The interference with your home appliances does not propagate across the live wires. It would not likely pass through the PS, with the transformer. It is through the ground wire and the grounding grid that it propagates, and these powerful longitudinal vibrations pass strait into the electronics, as ground is not supposed to need filters, there are none😃. I had an experience with a two HP three phase pump in the pool, when I connected an ozoniser with a Tesla coil to the same ground, it destroyed immediately the windings of the motor. So when working with this things, a separate earth ground is mandatory. Or s floating ground of some massive metal objects ( without anything else connected). A stack of old, weared out car batterys does a good job for this purpose.

Hi Vidura and All!

Tnx for the explanation. Today I had a few minutes for experimentation, and the freezer started to change menus and temperature again, it is a bit funny, I have to admit😂. But I endet quite quickly. Vidura I have 3 grounds in the room.

The mains, the one from the  water weil ( 8m of metal rod) and a third is a dedicated 20m ground strip 2m deep, about 10 apart from the water weil. So I can connect them all, separate you name it...

I hope I will move everything to my other work shop in the other building to avoid the remote communication to the home appliances.😂 The freezer board is more like an sdr receiver than a compressor switch.

The plan is to move everything and test the 4-5 different power supplies  with the coils and observe the difference.

Was in touch with one of very good experimenters who also has the 320 core and hoping he will join our journey here. He got the stl file to print the coil formers. If anybody needs one I can post it here. You can see how they look in my video from a few days ago.

My friend if the display signs become red better get the f* out of there, you know what happened when Predator activated his self-destruction device... 😄

I apologize, I know it's not funny what happened to the deep freezer board, just found the phrase hilarious...

Your friend is very welcome here.

Hahahaha, lol.

You are right Figter... I like humor very much so all good.

I'm currently very grateful for finding this forum with good vibes.

Have a good day or night, e

Another investigation about grounding. As you can see the coil ends are open. Maybe not the most ideal method, but I tried to measure capacity. It can be seen that there is capacity even with coils that are close or placed next to each other. As if it were the capacitor's weaponry. Regardless, it still draws power from the power supply. But a parallel L-R-C resonance point can form.

Fighter.
If you have the means, measure the open ends of the ZPM coils to see if they have a measurable capacity. Or how big it is.
Thank you. Atti.
